She also received glowing reviews for the show in the 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
Since her debut into stage comedy with The Debutante Diaries Kate has written another critically acclaimed one-woman show The Enthusiasts and the comic play Dead River. She has also co-written, script edited and performed in two television sitcom pilots Slices and Kinder Surprise with co-collaborator Fiona Harris. These two ladies will make their stage debut as a duo later in the year with the comedy show Livin’ the Dream.

“McLennan is such a radiant presence she barely needs the stage lights.” Australian Stage
'... really hysterical ... I'm still laughing ... McLennan has it totally under control.' BEAT Magazine
"Working with Year 8 students can always be a challenge! Kate managed to keep our girls enthralled as she explored the nature of comedy and developed both their analytical and their performance skills. They raved about it long after the sessions ended.... Mark Stracey, Enrichment Coordinator, Mount Saint Joseph Girls' College)
