Annie Maynard

After completing a drama degree at Flinders University in 2001, Annie was accepted into NIDA, graduating in 2004. She has had many leading roles in Theatre & Television. Television credits include:  the lead role of Bess in Upper Middle Bogan series 1,2 and 3, Love Child, A Moody Christmas, Rake 3, Puberty Blues, Paper Giants: The Birth of Cleo, Spirited 2, Tricky Business and All Saints.

Theatre credits include: My First Time, The Comedy Gala with John Cleese at Sydney Opera House, Orestes 2.0 for Cry Havoc, Midsummer Night’s Dream for Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Stoning Mary for Griffin Theatre, The Yellow Dress for Sydney Theatre Company’s Young Playwrights of the Year Awards, Privates Lives, The Government Inspector and Noises Off for STCSA, Maralinga Project, Capricornia and The Reindeer Monologues for Belvoir Theatre.

Film projects include: Blinky Bill: The Movie, Super Awesome!, The Shoe Whisperer and Unlucky Larry. Annie also works extensively as a voice over artist in television, radio, animated feature and audiobook formats.
