Bryan Moses

Bryan Moses is a Sydney based director, writer, and producer working in comedy and entertainment. His first feature film, an indie action comedy titled “The Tail Job” screened competition at the 2016 Slamdance film festival and won the jury award for best film at the CATE film festival. Bryan is a five-time finalist in Australia’s biggest short film festival Tropfest. His most recent short “The Mistake” has over 4 million views on YouTube.

Bryan has written, produced and directed several TV shows, including cult comedy series “Double the Fist” which won the AFI award for best comedy series in 2004. Bryan directed ABC2 Comedy series, “Back Seat Drivers” and produced and directed “Axis All Areas” a Screen Australia and YouTube Funded web series with the Axis of Awesome.

Bryan’s other works include the futuristic racing game “Alternator” for ABC3, comedy documentary “The Arecibo Message” for SBS, and comedy sketches for YouTube web series “Insert Coin”.

With production company Blink TV Bryan is a key creative on SBS’s slate of Eurovision projects and has produced and created the “Eurovision Top 40” the “Eurovision Quiz Contest” and also written travel documentaries “The Heart of Eurovision” and “A Pang for Brasil”.

Bryan is a director at Start VR, a Sydney and L.A. based Virtual Reality company and was a creative on several VR projects including the recently released “Atlas Obscura VR” for the Oculus head set.

Bryan is directing comedy series “The Big Day” for the ABC’s Fresh Blood initiative, and producing entertainment quiz show, ”The Reel Thing” for Channel 9. He is also developing his next feature film “The Amazing Overlanders” based on the true story of the first Australian car crossing from Perth to Sydney.
