Emma O’Sullivan

Emma O’Sullivan

Emma is a fresh graduate of WAAPA’s 2016 Acting course.

Prior to WAAPA, Emma was a student at Curtin University studying Performance and Professional Writing where she performed such roles as Trisha in Who’s Afraid of the Working Class? Andromache in The Trojan Women and Lucina in Metamorphoses at the Hayman Theatre.

She then spent one year working as a character performer at Walt Disney World in Orlando, Florida. In between shifts was trained in stilts, parades, puppetry and got to hone her juggling skills.

Whilst at WAAPA she got to play an 84 year old French Aristocrat, a deceased Beatnik and just about everything in between. She had the privilege and of performing Julie in CosíDogberry in Much Ado About Nothing, Valeria in Coriolanus and Miss Pross in A Tale of Two Cities. She capped her three years off being the recipient of the 2016 Finley Award for Acting before heading east.

Emma is incredibly excited to debut her self-written and sexily titled one woman show Where be the Winged Apes? at Perth’s Fringe World Festival in January 2017.
