Katie Robertson

Katie graduated from Sydney Theatre School’s Diploma of Arts (Acting) in 2008.

In 2016 Katie was hand picked by Rebecca Gibney to play Jemima Parkmore in Channel Seven’s Emmy nominated drama ‘Wanted’. In the same year she picked up a recurring role in the critically acclaimed BBC and Foxtel’s Television Drama series ‘The Kettering Incident’ playing Sandra Hull. In 2017 she played the lead role in an episode of Hamish and Andy’s new scripted comedy series ‘True Story’ for Channel Nine and two guest spots on ABC’s ‘Get Krackin’.

Katie is perhaps most well known for playing Dr Grace Howlett in the beloved ABC comedy series ‘Rosehaven’ which is airing its second season on the ABC and Sundance TV in the USA.

Her stage credits include Ten Wonderful Years for is theatre ltd., Mate for Company B, As You Like It for Directions Productions, Who’s Afraid Of The Working Class and Cosi for Old Nick, Peter Pan and The Taming Of The Shrew for Hobart Repertory Theatre Society, Babyfood for Hobart’s OneFest and Robin Hood for Big Monkey and ‘White Rabbit, Red Rabbit’ and ‘Smile, Smile, Smile’ for the Tasmanian Theatre Company (nominated for best supporting actress – Tasmanian Theatre Awards) and most notably as Vanda in Loud Mouth Theatre Co.’s debut production of Venus in Fur, by David Ives for which she won the Tasmanian Theatre Award for Best Performance – Female, in the professional category.

Her short screen credits include Angel Cake (short) for Rogan Josh Productions, Plans (web series) for Do It Now Productions, and The Calling Hours (short) for SkyMachine.

She is a dedicated advocate for the Tasmanian performing arts scene; most notably she co-founded Loud Mouth Theatre Company, Tasmania’s newest independent theatre company.
