A Swinburne Film and Television School graduate, Peter detoured through an award-winning copywriting career before returning to his first passion, screenwriting. His spec thriller Too True was a Nicholl Fellowships semi-finalist and optioned by LA producer B.P. Cooper (Time Lapse).

Peter wrote the premier episode of Bryan Brown’s Two Twisted anthology series, which led to his collaboration with director David Caesar on the action adventure screenplay Green Hell, supported by Screen Australia. His feature assignments include the horror S.O.S. Ship of Souls for John Brister Films (In Enemy Hands), the thriller Babi for director Dean Francis (Road Train), and the family film Oddball, one of 2015’s biggest theatrical hits.

He recently completed work on The Wishmas Tree, the first animated family feature film to be produced for Like A Photon Creative and Universal in their Gumleaf Universe. It will be released through Odin’s Eye and Universal internationally in late 2019. Peter is also working on several other feature film projects.
