Steen Raskopoulos

Steen is an actor, writer & improviser. Most recent credits include being a main cast member in Whose Line is it Anyway? Australia and the 6 part BBC comedy series Top Coppers with John Kearns. A successful run at the Festival saw him receive a nomination in the Best Newcomer category at the Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Awards. Off the back of the Edinburgh season, Steen took his show to London’s Soho Theatre, where he performed a sold out season resulting in a second season going on sale to meet demand.   Other stage credits include the 2015 MICF Opening Night Gala, the 2015 Cracker Night Gala and The 2014 Opera House Gala for the Sydney Comedy Festival, UCB’s Improv Comedy Festival in New York, The Bear Pack – a fully improvised show regularly seen at The Giant Dwarf in Sydney and his debut solo sketch show Bruce SpringSTEEN Live in Concert (Sydney Fringe, Sydney Comedy Festival & MICF). Steen’s film credits include the feature film Holding the Man (dir: Neil Armfield) and short films The Roomate, Model Brother, The Polygamist and Twisted which was a 2014 Tropfest film finalist; as well as two film clips for Axis of Awesome.
