Molly Simpson (she/her) is an actress based in Naarm/Melbourne. Born and raised in Djilang/Geelong, Molly moved to Melbourne at 18, to complete a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Acting) at the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA). Before moving, Molly commuted by train every day for two years to attend the Victorian College of The Arts Secondary School (VCASS). Molly’s credits at the VCA include Carolyne in Archimedes War (dir. Krystalla Pearce), Anya in The Cherry Orchard (dir. Bagryana Popov), Annie in LOVE (dir. Tahlee Fereday), Romeo and Juliet (dir. Mark Wilson), Somebody in Everybody (dir. Isabella Vadiveloo) and Emily in Hibernation (dir. Maude Davey). In 2023, Molly was involved in Melbourne Fringe Festival’s The Kitchen Kabaret (dir. Maddie Johnston) where she utilised her 8 years of musical theatre training. Molly embodies the art of comedic timing, skillfully weaving humour into her performances through a deep passion for improvisation and comedy. Eager to immerse herself in all forms of artistic expression, Molly is excited to embrace new and creative experiences both on the stage and screen.
