Being the youngest of ten children from a farm in the south west of Victoria, William’s childhood was one of action, attention and performance, whether it be chasing sheep or making films with his brothers.
William studied for three years full time at the National Theatre where he received 3 scholarships; the Basin Theatre group scholarship and the G&E Jones scholarship for 2 consecutive years.
After graduating from the National Theatre in 2011, William played the recurring role of Griffin O’Donohue on Neighbours, Kevin in The Chocolate Frog directed by Malcolm Robertson, and is quite well known to Queensland for his role as the ‘Time Traveller’ in the RACQ car insurance commercial. In 2013 William appeared on screen as Oliver Armatage in Miss Fisher’s Murder Mysteries, which screened on ABC1. 2016 saw William star as Craig Allen in the ABC’s drama series Newton’s Law.
William’s theatre credits include The Laramie Project, Orpheus, Kissing And Fucking Up, The McNeil Project, Holy Ship, Cruising Paradise, A Chekhov Triptych and Patient 12.
