Lucinda Price (aka Froomes) is a writer, broadcaster, documentary filmmaker and comedian.

Her debut book, All I Ever Wanted Was To Be Hot, is a funny, provocative retrospective on the last thirty years of Western beauty standards. An instant best-seller, it won an Australian Book Industry Award (ABIA) for Small Publishers’ Adult Book of the Year. Price was also nominated for the 2025 Matt Richell Award for New Writer of the Year.

As a cast member of ABC’s hit television series, Race Around The World, she created ten films across the globe over 100 days, focusing on pop culture, modern dating, identity and the internet. Her films were celebrated for their bold and original approach to everyday topics.

She’s also the CEO of FROOMESWORLD, an international one-woman business specialising in scripting, producing, presenting and editing original content. She has amassed a cult following online, and earned an AACTA nomination for Best Digital Creator.

She’s worked with some of the country’s biggest brands across all sectors. She’s an ambassador for Destination NSW, as well as InsideOut Institute for Eating Disorders.

As a seasoned MC and entertainer, she’s appeared at some of Australia’s largest live events and stages, from Australia-wide writer’s and music festivals all the way to the Opera House. Her sold-out debut show at the 2023 Melbourne International Comedy Festival was rated five stars from The Age.

Lucinda’s TV credits include ABC’s At Home Alone Together, in a sketch she wrote and edited, Amazon original The Moth Effect, Australia Now and Then, a host on MTV Australia, a presenter on ABC’s Art Works and the red carpet host of the 2022 ARIA Awards. She has also written for the 2021 ARIA Awards and ABC’s Question Everything. She has hosted multiple limited-series podcasts, and helmed a national radio show with youth broadcaster, CADA.

Her writing has appeared in The Guardian, The Sydney Morning Herald and the ABC, alongside her newsletter with over 13,000 subscribers.
