As one of Australia’s leading comedy actors Marg is known for her character work in countless Australian classics and has since garnered acclaim for her dramatic work in film, theatre, and television.

After starring in The D-Generation, Fast Forward and Full Frontal Marg went on to play Marion in the iconic series Kath and Kim. This was followed by roles in Open Slather, The Other Guy, Get Krack’n, Back In Very small Business, Fisk (Series 1 and 2) and Stan Original Jones Family Christmas. In recent years Marg has featured in popular dramas such as Top Of The Lake: China Girl and The Dr Blake Mysteries (Series 2 and 3). She has been nominated twice for Best Supporting Actress in a Drama at the AACTA awards for her portrayal of Evelyn Walters in The Newsreader.

Theatre credits include Emerald City at Queensland Theatre and Melbourne Theatre Company, Hayfever at Melbourne Theatre Company, Timeshare at the Malthouse Theatre, Skull In Connemara at 45 Downstairs, La Cage Aux Folles for The Production Company, Moonlight And Magnolias for director Bruce Beresford at the Melbourne Theatre Company, Mum’s The Word and Mum’s The Word 2, Glimpse and the world premiere season of Joanna Murray-Smith’s Rapture for Playbox.

Marg is also a highly sought-after voiceover artist, both for commercial/corporate work and for key roles in numerous animation projects, including L’il Elvis Jones & The Truckstoppers, Ocean Girl, Dogstar, Wakkaville and The Flamin’ Thongs and Kitty Is Not A Cat (Series 1-3).
