Zan Rowe is a broadcaster, TV presenter, producer, and writer, best known as the creator of Take 5 with Zan Rowe. Recognised as one of Australia’s most charming and experienced interviewers, she regularly swaps tales with entertainment legends.

For more than twenty years, she was a beloved presenter on triple j and Double J and co-hosted the award-winning pop culture podcast Bang On with Myf Warhurst.

She is a master of live television hosting A (Very) Musical Christmas and New Years Eve on the ABC, as well as Tropfest, the Classic 100, and ABC’s 90^th Birthday Celebration.

Zan is a regular on Australian screens as a guest on Have You Been Paying Attention?, Spicks and Specks, Claire Hooper’s House of Games, The Project, and co-host on The Sound. She’s also appeared on A Bite to Eat with Alice, Gardening Australia and The Cook Up.

Her deftness in guiding a conversation has seen her collaborate with Vivid Sydney, Universal Pictures, Disney, Big Sound, The Australian Chamber Orchestra, and Melbourne Film Festival, among many more.

She is a regular MC for awards nights, host of conferences, and host of celebrations large and small.

Zan was made an Industry Adjunct Associate Professor with RMIT’s School of Media and Communication in 2023, recognised as an accomplished figure in the realms of radio, television, music journalism, and podcasting.

In 2026 Zan will host the reboot of Race Around the World for ABC TV.
