Oliver is a supremely gifted stand up, actor and writer, who couples together all his expertise to create wildly inventive and captivating comedy.

After graduating from the Victorian College of Arts and spending time as an independent theatre actor, Oliver moved to Scotland and started performing sketch and stand-up. Who knew, it turns out that performing ‘alternative’ comedy to drunken Glaswegian football fans eating pizza is a terrific way to earn your chops as a performer.

Oliver returned to Australia and has made his mark with exquisitely crafted and spellbindingly performed shows.

His solo comedy shows include Goof, Neon, Sublime and Poolside which have been seen in festivals such as Adelaide Fring Festival, Melbourne Comedy Festival, Perth Fringe Festival, Sydney Comedy Festival, Brisbane Comedy Festival, Replay Festival Melbourne and Edinburgh Fringe Festival.

Oliver’s television credits include, SBS Productions & Seven Network’s Secret Bridesmaids’ Business, Network Ten’s Neighbours and Seven Networks Molly. In radio Oliver appears as a Regular Guest on ABC Melbourne and Regular Host on Triple R Melbourne.

Oliver was nominated at the Melbourne Comedy Festival for Most Outstanding Show in 2024, and Best Newcomer and the Golden Gibbo Awards in 2019. In 2019 Oliver was the winner of the Brisbane Comedy Festival Touring Award and in 2020 was the winner of the Melbourne Comedy Festival Moosehead Award.
