After graduating from the Swinburne Film and Television School, Peter detoured through an award-winning copywriting career before returning to his first passion, screenwriting. His early spec thriller Too True was a Nicholl Fellowships semi-finalist and optioned by LA producer B.P. Cooper (Time Lapse).

Adept across a range of genres, Peter wrote the premier episode of Bryan Brown’s Two Twisted anthology TV series, and more recently the highly successful family film Oddball and the animated feature The Wishmas Tree for international theatrical release. He has also had multiple projects in development with local and international producers and directors, with support from funding bodies Australia-wide.

Currently in development is his screenplay for the comedy adventure film Welcome to Gibba, as well several projects in the dramedy, horror and biopic genres across both film and television.
