Peter wrote one of Australia’s greatest box-office successes of recent times, the family comedy Oddball, which, better still, has proven to be a much-loved movie by young and old alike.
A graduate of the Swinburne Film and Television School, Peter detoured through both an award-winning copywriting career and a highly distracting stint as co-owner of a swing dancing school before throwing it all in to concentrate on his first passion, screenwriting.
Peter’s first produced credit was the premier episode of Bryan Brown’s Two Twisted anthology series, There’s Something About Kyanna. His spec thriller Too True was a semi-finalist in the Nicholl Fellowships of Screenwriting and acquired by LA-based producer BP Cooper to be directed by Bradley King (both of Time Lapse).
He has written on assignment both here and in the US, has had several spec scripts optioned, and has had numerous feature projects supported by the major funding bodies.
